Goodwood House

​

Goodwood House is owned by the Duke of Richmond and sits in the middle of the Goodwood Estate, which hold many internationally renowned events year in and year out. Nearby is the Goodwood Farm Shop which sells locally produced, organic foods and wine, as well as other popular attractions such as the racecourse, motor circuit and gold club.

 

The house itself was built in 1697 and has stunning classical interior decor. The house can be explored on the limited number of days each year when is when it's open to the public.

 

Goodwood Racecourse

Goodwood racecourse, one of the countries most popular flat racing venues, is located only five miles from Chichester. It hosts a large selection of races and events every year, the most renowned being Glorious Goodwood week in August. The racecourse has spectacular views over the South Downs.

 

Goodwood Motor Circuit

 

Goodwood Motor Circuit is a historic venue for all categories of motor racing. Being one of the most prestigious circuits in the United Kingdom, a vast array of events are held here throughout the year. The most popular being the Goodwood Festival of Speed, and the Goodwood Revival, as well as the smaller events such as the monthly Goodwood Breackfast Club meet, which is help on the first Sunday of every month between March and November. The circuit also holds various track days throughout the year if you fancy having a go in your own vehicle.
